To all interested,
from July 22-25, 2015 the annual conference of the International Society for Environmental Ethics (ISEE) will take place at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU), Germany with the theme “Environmental Ethics Between Action and Reflection”. The conference is organized by the Chair for Environmental Philosophy and Ethics.
The conference program includes
– four keynote lectures by Prof. Thomas Potthast (Tübingen), Prof. Darrel Moellendorf (Frankfurt), Prof. Clare Palmer (Texas) und Prof. Alan Warde (Manchester),
– approximately 90 talks in the fields of political philosophy, phenomenology, aesthetics, religious studies, hermeneutics and ethics,
– two side-events:
.“GRN meets ISEE” provides an overview of the various environmental research activities undertaken at the CAU and is organized by the interdisciplinary Gustav-Radbruch-Network
.“Energiewende konkret” on the energy transition in Germany is organized in cooperation with the Science Center at Kiel. Please note that while the general conference is conducted in English, the latter side-event will be in German.
